I've got no say at home. I'll never win when I argue with my mum. Not that i want to win. I just find it super unreasonable. At the end of the day she will link everything to me not doing housework.

It's like what the fuck. I woke up at 10 then she will say that I woke up late and never help her. She blames that it's because i didn't wake up early to help her in housework, she can't go out on time. Yes, me. But my little bro is still sleeping soundly on bed and she never mention a word. (This is not the first time) After which she will tell me not to compare. Tell me how not to?!

Because I'm a girl. Yes, because I'm a girl. FML

A few in One

There's just too many things that i wanted to post. Procrastinated for too long. Since the end of Children's camp, to Christmas, my uncle leaving us, my new year resolution and b.

So many things but so little time. Chinese New year is coming my mum is really pressing me hard on help her to do spring cleaning. At the same time my school work is piling up. Assignments not done, tests coming and preliminary examinations are nearing.

Debts get heavier and not lesser. Debts have been accumulating since the Children's camp. Putting many things aside to make sure my camp goes well. Well, now that its done. It's time to get everything back.

I'm still rushing for almost everyday. Rush to school, rush to work, rush to meet friends etc. Perhaps he's right, i've got poor time management? Too busy for him. Really sorry for that. But anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. We can't tolerate each other anymore. Till now, i still don't know what exactly had happen which lead to this situation. There's always this question in my mind after breakups. It's you or it's me? Why other couples can last, why we can't?

Sigh.. I really think i've got a big problem in relationships.

Okay, i need to stop emoing.

Next, new year resolution! Need to set more realistic ones..

I shall start by assessing my new year resolution for 2011:

Get my driving license before i turn 20- Yes, i'm 20 but still holding on to a PDL at the last lap though. #phailed
Not to fall asleep during lectures- Ha, it's pretty hard to achieve! I still fall aslp in lectures but definitely lesser than the previous years! So not bad luhh uhh. Hee
Don't take things for granted- Hmm quite difficult to assess this, never really take things for granted in guess?
Study harder!!!- Ahh did study hard for May's exam. But haven't been studying since sch term starts :/
Spent lesser $- Oh noo! i've been spending more money ever since.. time to save money!

That's my 2011 resolution. How many achieved? Sad to say, none. Maybe half?

2011 was quite a bad year. Cried too much for the year..

Sincerely hope that 2012 will be better.

Independent or not?

I always ponder about this question. To be independent or not to be?

Personally i feel that i'm rather independent. I don't really like to rely on others.

A simple example to illustrate: I like to have big pencil cases because i can put everything i may need inside. Not that i don't like to borrow from others, but i would rather people borrow from me.

Maybe from young, my parents taught me to be one. My mum don't carry school bag for me. She taught me to iron my own clothes since Primary school. I still remember her saying: "长大了，要自己学做!", "如果我死了，你就要自己做了."

Trained to be independent. Know how live when you are alone.

I grew up as a independent girl.

In the midst of being independent, i realised that i'm so lonely. "Because you are independent, because you don't want to reply on others, friends don't feel needed, friends feel that you don't trust them enough, and so friends leave you.."

But when i start to rely on others and be less independent, i get greater disappointments when there is no one to rely on..

That's when i tell myself to be independent again.

Happy birthday to me! On the 27th nov.

This is what i've got from my wifey the moment i reached the conference room. Yea, i celebrated my birthday having mumbo meeting. Mickey is as tall a me! Ha.

I even brought Mickey out for publicity! See my hand holding the Camp Mumbo flyers!

I've got surprised when we went back to CC. The whole bunch of people are waiting for me. And here comes the cake!!

Yes! i had some many people to celebrate birthday with me. Feels so honored! Mickey is so cute!!

Nonetheless, they have to make some fun out of it.

They make me take out a tiny winy thing out of the cake and it's stuck at the bottom!!

A huge surprise from my lovies! Seriously shocked when i saw them. I was suppose to be on my way to the 'toilet'... hahaha and i saw them at the passage way with a cake! hahahs

Yea, and i got cake the second time on my face! Oh ya i haven't mention about wifey's birthday tag!! thanks!! i love it! heee.. a lot of effort i know! innovative and creative too! cos it was cut out from a paperbag..

I went home early on my birthday. Because my parents are waiting for their lovely daughter to be back. I'm always blessed that my daddy is home! And i had my third cake!!

What are the happenings in my life?!

Studies
Hmmm. Time allocated to study is getting lesser and lesser. Getting drown in lectures, especially poa. I need to do tutorials.. Rather than copying answers during lectures :/ i promise I'll study a lot more after my children's camp.

Yes talking about Children's camp, it has been taking up my sundays since the start of July?! From planning of the meetings to executing.. It's gonna be camp in a few weeks time. Means I'll be busier next month. Omgg. I need to split myself up into parts.

Seems like everyone wants me. Heeh

Oh yah! I'm learning driving in the midst of everything. Seriously idk why I choose to learn driving at this time when I'm sooooo busy. I could have learnt it earlier when I'm so much more free. But anw, it's pretty fun. Not the part about stepping the clutch! It's the driving process. Making turns, U-turns. Now I feel the frustration of the drivers when people cross roads as and when they want..

What have i done all this while since school started?

Seriously i really don't remember much. No schools on Monday, 3hrs per day for the rest of the weekdays. Saturdays are for? Hmm can't recall. And all my Sundays are truly dedicated to my Children's camp meeting.

I'm guilty to say that the hours spent on studies are really pathetic. Half of the time i'm staring into space during lectures :/ But i do make an effort to hand up all my assignments on time! Even when i have to burn midnight oil! Proud of myself for that. ONLY.

I need to buck up. Work less. (Don't know where i can dig money from)

Signed up for 2 runs recently. The yellow ribbon prison run and today the nike run. Both 10K

The prison run was rather difficult as the sun was really an ass that day. Scorching. The slopes were challenging and there are definitely more than 3 slopes. The best thing is, i slept for only 3hrs (i actually slept the most compared to lau & ade). And the last time i ran before the prison run was at June! But we managed to finish the run! I walked a lot though. Finished the run in around 1.5hrs.

We were kinda proud of ourselves, given that we didn't train and lacked sleep.

Today is the nike run! It was so popular that registration only lasted for 2 days? The crowd was really~ y'know luh. Woke up real early for this. Slept for 5hrs this time and had a few runs before this. Most importantly, the sun is nice to us today. It was drizzling before the run started and stopped after awhile. The breeze blew on us while we ran. Only towards the last part i then felt tired. Quite happy that i didn't walk! Stopped 2 times for hydration. Still quite slow though.

I started love running more. Especially when i'm upset. I'll blast music and head down to have a run around my estate. Problems did run away a little.

Macau, 珠海 Day 2

I'm getting bored at home, so i decided to continue my Hk, Macau trip.
Day 2! We went to 珠海- part of China. It's just a link way across Macau. There wasn't much things to see. So all we could do is shopping!!! Shop till we drop. If i never remember wrongly, i bought 10 pieces of clothes there :/ Not exactly cheap there, you'll have to bargin.

The socks are just too cute!!

After shopping we head to this go-kart place, racing time! It was a bit scary at first. I didn't really dare to hit the accelerator but when you get more used to the route, you'll just heck care! I bumped into the tyres along the route quite a number of times :/ But overall it was a great try! Quite tiring though.

Yea, that's what we seat on. Not very comfortable. They have to put a lot of cushion on the seat for me so i could reach the accelerator since their seat is not adjustable. Their engine is pretty hot too.

Of course we have to eat seafood food when we go to Zhu hai!

First, we have to get our own seafood just right outside the restaurants

Then we will have to choose a restaurant we want to have our seafood. F.Y.I there's a whole stretch of restaurant down the street.

Don't know why they have to wrap their plates, bowls in a plastic. As if they are new. Ha they are not. I guess they just want us to know that the cutlery are clean.

Here comes our oyster! I'm not a fan of oyster. Be it raw or cooked, i don't eat them.

I liked this the most! I don't know what's the exact name for this. You will really have to move your fingers to eat this! But it's worth it! I love the peppery taste.

Oh no, i don't know what's the name also. Ha, there's no taste for this and you still have to use a stick to dig the meat out. Nahh no for me.

That's all for our 2nd day.. After our dinner we went back to Macau. Oh! i think when we went back there was extra vouchers to eat at the restaurants at Venetian and will expire on that day. So.. needless to say, we went to eat again!! But we could take photos, as we ate at the restaurant inside the casino. The food there was really good!

Now you know, why i'm not thin! Heee

Year 2

I'm gonna be a Year 2 student! First officially lecture starts tomorrow. Pretty excited for school at this moment. I guess it's because i'm really tired of all the part-time jobs. I kind of miss studying, going school, having breaks.. and of course see my lecture mates everyday!!

This time round i really need to promise myself to work harder. Much harder than last year. Looking at my 1st year's results, it's truly not worth celebrating even though i passed all.

It's a 4 day school week this time. No schools on Monday (cause Mon blues). 3 days of 8.30 lectures, and 1 day of 12noon lecture. I really hope that i could wake up and be on time. Especially of the 8.30 ones.

Macau, day 1

Decided to change my blogskin. The old one seems a bit too boring. I have been dragging to post my Macau and HK trip becuase i'm so lazy to upload photos. But somehow i overcome the laziness. Hehh. Alright! Let's fly to Macau!

Soaring in the skies! Actually i hate taking flights. The seat is so small and so uncomfortable, most of the time i can't fall asleep. Okay, maybe it's budget airlines. Economy class is a bit better.

We reached! Macau is a tourist based country, so there's free shuttle bus to go around. Well, we are staying at The Venetian, so we took the venetian bus.

I love the interior design of Venetian. I love walking along these streets. The clear skies make you feel so cheerful. The only thing is, you will tend to forget the time.

We were heading to Senados square so we took shuttle bus to the habour and then to Grand Lisboa and then walk there. We'll have to walk through the casino to get up the the main lobby and to the main road. The main thing is, my lil' bro is yet 18. We've to sneak him in.

我把我哥的 laptop battery plug 弄坏了。我知道他一定会大发雷霆所以一直在找机会说。

刚刚没多久我找到了这个机会。和我预料的没差多远，哥哥就大骂。＂每当电器在你手里它就会坏掉＂。因为想保护自己，想让他知道不是我想弄坏的。所以都忘了我有错在先，跟他吵了起来。硬碰硬。

虽然到最后我心里以知道我该怎么做，但就是嘴硬说了＂好！我自己去买一个回来＂。反省了之后才来问自己，为什么到了最后还不肯认输？我想，我是想证明我有能力去买会我弄坏的东西不需要他也能做得到。

可是现在想一想，如果我证明了又怎么样？很了不起吗？

~唉，还是低头认错吧。

我又要和我任性，傲慢的性格奋斗了。

Well, this is the second time to a waterfall trek and it's amazing! I really love it. More than my first climb at Kota tinggi. Perhaps it's because i feel that it's easier this time as there is much lesser of trek in the water with slippery rocks. But nevertheless it's still pretty much challenging due to the big big, tall rock and my short legs. Also, maybe because i have my usual companion there with me. Though she wasn't near me for most of the time while trekking because we were to partner with a guy during the climb.

See a pig climbing up there? Ha his one of my closer friend. We may be crude towards each other in terms of words but ya, we look out for each other. That was a pretty steep climb, there won't be tomorrow if you drop down.

One of the take five sessions, seems like a nice pit stop. Nice scenery along the way. Nicole even took her nuts out to eat!

And then we reached our peak! we took around 2 hours to reach? The weather was pretty nice! The scene of the waterfall is really breathtaking. You will forget how tiring the climb was, how heavy your load is.

Ohh the mini yam buns!! We were all so hungry. Luckily i insisted that i want to buy this! While i was eating this i remembered the times i ate during lecture breaks. I miss those times!

Since we don't really have much things to do, we played monopoly deal!! I brought my hk version one. See the chinese words!

Then it was lunch time!! We took out all our canister and get ready to cook!!

Other than food, we need water too! Nicole and chenyu trying to pump water from our main water source, the waterfall and at the same time filtering it! Guys if you want to train your biceps, you can help us filter water! it's really tiring to continuously pump 1.5L of water!

Chenyu and Zhiwen cooking rice! Just add a lil Japanese seasoning and the rice taste awesome! But the washing part sucks! cause mess tin is not a non stick pan..

Just happened to find this bottle cap on the rock.

We have nothing much to do up there, so we went for a swim, cat fighting in the water, jumping into the water to wait for time to pass. I think i took a short nap too! Of course not forgetting to cam whore!

We were trying to leave a space for our fellow camp commandant Tianjun!

And it's dinner time! Basically what we do up there is eat, play, eat and then sleep!!!

And then eat again! our supper! Mango pudding and Melon pudding. Chilled one somremore! Ha wondering how come it's chilled? We put it into the water. Ohh i forgot to mention! the water is freezing cold up there. Just like watercooler!

And we have some chilled drinks too!

We chat for quite awhile about camp stuffs while lying on the groundsheet searching for stars. That night was too cloudy.. So we didn't get to see the beautiful stars :(

And then i start to drizzle.. So we all went back to our tents. It started to rain heavier after i lie flat. And the worst thing is, water starts to drip in! My tent was quite flooded at the sides, so we all squeezed in the middle. Luckily the rain stopped after awhile. If not we will have to evacuate our tents. While i was in the situation, i remembered my ODAC camp at ubin. That time was worse. Our tent was totally not water proof. And we really evacuate in the middle of the night!

And this was the place we bathe around evening time after our dinner! The water was really really cold. But damn shiok!

Around 8.30 in the morning we head down. We took a longer time to go down as it was slippery due to the rain.

Then we went to eat seafood! Some stupid people just ordered big glass of sugarcane for all of us! It's freaking 1L! Drink until want to vomit.

I really love the trip. I actually don't feel like climbing down the waterfall on the second day. The life is really slow up there and i kind of like it. I mean not for long. It's good to have this kindd of life once in awhile. Leave all ur 'baggage' behind and just relax!

Okay, i know this is really a very outdated post but ya i kind of forgot to post it. Food hunt 2010- i took part with my fellow pageant team: vincent , qifang, kay and Andy!

Yup, so the 2nd stop! Tiong bahru food centre? if i nvr remember the name wrongly heh.

I like this! Lor mee! See Qi fang's face?! Hahas i did went back there just to eat the Lor mee! 2 times i think? hahas but ya the second time i bought but didn't eat :X

Next we went to Maxwell food centre at Chinatown. Banana Fritters!

And the to Song fa BKT at Clarke Quay. I love the peppery soup and it's sort of free flow! You just need to buy one bowl and you can refill and refill! Bottomless bowl^^

This is at Old airport road food centre? i can't really remember the names. I only care about the food. heh Oh ya BFFF: remember the bowl colour! it's beige in colour! The prawn soup is really superb!

We saw Jolyn's team there too! They ate like hungry ghost! I wonder how the swallow the piping hot soup in less than 5 mins.

And chicken chop or pork chop is can't really remember.. Probably not that nice to be able to refresh my memory. But i could still recall that the meat was quite unique in the sense that it's a large piece of minced meat.

Yum Yum! i love eating laksa! The rich coconut gravy with prawns, and the chilli is incredible! I'm craving for it now!

OHHH. THIS IS THE LEGANDARY DUCK RICE!! But abit out of the way. It's at pasir panjang and i think there's only one bus that will reach there. You'll have to walk in from the main road if you don't take that bus. Just one mouth and you will think it's extraordinary! Even the soup is nice!

On our way to town.. 3 person squeeze in 2 seats! Means we are skinny enough!

Bump into SQ's group at once upon the milkshake. The milkshake is nice! But very difficult to drink from the straw. Especially when we were rushing for time. We just opened the cover and drink straight without straw..

After this station was really pure exercise! We ran to Tom's palatte (idk how to spell again) for ice cream. I must say, they really have very daring flavours of ice cream like curry apple, egg yoke, etc. But it turns out nice!

We ran to our last station too. Rochor tau huay!

And finally we finished our food hunt at SMU. is that the mind's cafe or? Sorry i has been too long and i can't really recall. But it doesn't matter. There's no food to remember.

Haven't been blogging because my laptop spoiled right after my exams =.= what a time to spoil when I could probably use it everyday. But yea, I've got no choice. It's still not working now. Luckily I've got itouch. If not I wouldn't know how to survive. Kay, enough of ranting abt how sad that I can't use the comp.

Now it's post exams! I spend most of my time working though. But I would definitely play hard too! I'm going to chalet with the pinkies later! Our 2nd chalet! But I guess it's gonna be different. Since we know more about each other and more used to them? I'm pretty excited!

Oh wait, talking about work! I'm so glad that sq&jw took the trouble to come and "visit" me. Ha so sorry that I can't really entertain you all! I kinda scared that my manager won't be happy! Hee but I'll still look forward to you guys point by the shop^^

I've still got a long holiday to go! Date me okay! Hahas I've already got many activites lined up! I'm going trekking again! And after which Hongkong!!

I wouldn't be able to hang on till today if you all haven't been there. One of the reasons we got so close is because of all the study sessions. The end of exams means the end of all the study sessions. We see each other almost everyday. Try counting the number of meals we had together?

Who's there to crap with me everyday? Who's there when i'm so stressed that i cried (and to even know that i'm crying in the toilet)? Who's there when i just want to be emo without any reasons? Who's there to make me laugh till my stomach hurts? The list goes on..

We are just gonna to miss each other so much in this 4 months of summer break. Can't imagine from seeing each other everyday to seeing each other.. erms idk? We must stay in close contact okay!

Hahas i sound like i'm gonna leave you all or something. But ya, i'm so glad that to have you 2 as my BFFF :D

Liberation

Finally the end of examinations. Marks the end of my year 1 uni life. The papers are certainly "got kick". I actually got a shock after my first paper which i think i really need to retake it next year. Not saying that i didn't study for the subject, but it's not really whether you have studied. It's whether you understand it. I only started to see some light in Economics about 3 weeks before the exams? Previously was just plain reading of notes.

I must say, you are on your own in a university like mine. There's only a 3 hr lecture of each module each week. There's no teachers, lectures to monitor your progress. It's up to you on whether you want to keep up with what is happening. Even attending lectures. Nobody is going to spoon feed you! All these made it so difficult for me. Seriously feel helpless at many point of time. Who can i ask and clarify my doubts? Especially when both me and sq don't understand.

Anyway, last paper today! Feels so carefree like a bird! Though i think i didn't really do well for this exams. I shall leave the results for later part. For now it's work and play time!!! Needa work to have money to play.

* A little promise to myself, I must be more consistent next year. Start studying earlier and start practicing way before exams. I don't want to walk out of the exam hall and feel like dying again.

It's my mummy's birthday today! Happy birthday mummy!

I know that she won't see this but maybe she could feel it at taiwan? Hahas she's at taiwan now so it's like a bit difficult to wish her.

Actually i wanted to post about my dad. Because my mum is away, my dad is alone with me at home everyday. Only till now i realised my dad is so sweet.

He asks me whether i'm coming home to eat and asks me what i wanted to eat everyday. I mention that particular food, and i'll have that for the next meal.

My packet of 'wangwang' finishes and when i return home, he took out a new packet telling me he bought a new packet for me.

I guess some of you would be wondering why it took me so long to realise.

My dad works overseas. Don't ask me what he is working as because i myself don't know what exactly it is. He works for Asean Cableship. The time he stays at the ocean is definitely more than the time he stays at home. If i add up the days i see him in a year, it would probably be 3-4months?

Sometimes i do feel the awkwardness and distant. I've no idea why i don't dare to ask money from him. Unlike from my mum, i'll just stretch my hands out and ask for it. We can both watch tv without talking to each other(because i don't know what to say). Nevertheless i still love to see him at home.

Perhaps when you get lesser or something, you will treasure it more. And not take it for granted.

Kota tinggi

It was rather last minute that i decided to go Kota Tinggi with my mumbo friends. As examinations are rather near :/ But somehow i felt that i need to take a break. My pace of life is just too fast. And i missed my friends.

So, we are all up on the bus on the way to kota tinggi!

There are lots of big logs that have fallen. I have quite a difficult time going over them. My legs are really short :/

The night falls and thus we set up fire to keep ourselves warm, keep insects away and to let us walk around without the need of our torch!

Trying to dry our shoes from the water trek. Didn't really work though. Ha have to wear those stinky wet shoes to trek down the next day.

We were all ready to gaze at the starry sky. The dark dark sky filled with many many little stars. We were all very quiet, concentrating on each and every star we were looking at. It's really beautiful. Deep down, i wished that there could be someone i love to be there with me, enjoying that moment. We were all trying to look for shooting stars..

By 12 we were all down at the base of the waterfall. The locals like having fun too?!

We went Micheal's House to bathe and then have our lunch. BKT!! Hahas initially there were more plans after lunch like massage, and seafood. But we were to tired and the lunch was quite late. So we headed home. There were 7 of them who stayed behind though.

I must say, i'm still suffering from muscle aches. My arms, shoulders, legs.. I'm really unfit!!

I never regretted going for this trip. I had a long chat with two of my long lost mumbo friends. It has been quite sometime since we HTHT. It's really an extraordinary experience!

It feels better to dig up my sorrows and tell you that i still misses you, that i still love you?

We are not going to get back together. I don't want to get back together and i know you don't want either. What's the point then?

Just when i got better, trying to bury them up, you came in and dig them all out. Leaving me with a brainful of you. It makes you happier?

Alright since you wanna know, i'll tell you. I still think of you, i still miss you. There's so much of things around me that is about you. The orange soft toy that i hug everyday when i sleep, the wallet that i use, the red adidas watch, to even the mickey mouse pen in my pencil case. From big things to small little things. You tell me how can i not think about you? I've to admit, i do look at our photos. They are so sweet.

It's okay that things reminds me of you. At least you are somebody in my mind. But i want to let myself know that, it's time to let go.

Please stop asking me whether i still love you, i still miss you. It's doesn't matter already.

A day at home. Feels pretty great! Apart from some nagging at the later part. It has been a long time since i could sleep till i felt that i've slept enough. No frustrating alarms, no dragging/ pulling/ forcing myself out of the bed.

Decided not to study for today! But still had a fulfilling day!

I'm left with the last one to do! So proud of myself!

It's the mugging season! Prelims...

For almost everyday i've been out to study. But many a times, things just can't go into my brain. There's really lots of chapters for us to finish and for sure we know that we can't finish it by our prelim paper. Kind of suck ya?

Seriously i can't remember what strategy i used to remember all my geography stuffs when i was at secondary school and jc. I guess it's the practice. Preserve on! 2 more papers to go.

Other friends are already playing, shopping :/ i don't even dare to head to town to collect my pay cheque.

I'm gonna enjoy myself for one week after prelims!! Excited^^

When i was young, this question always pop up to my face. There's gold in your mouth? Can't you reply or say something?

I've no idea why i just don't dare to speak up. I don't even dare to say which drink i want. And i remembered i always get scolded badly for not replying. What a rude girl. At primary school my teachers always tell my parents that i'm a quiet girl. My secondary 1 report book remarks says: " Denise is a soft spoken girl" (I'm actually quite happy for that remark now! Ha cause i know no one else will tell me that ever again!)

What changed me? Seriously i don't know! When i was secondary 3 i could shout across the parade square. Probably because i had to take part in competition for st john and i was the commander for the team. My seniors train me hard. I went JC and became ODAC president. I guess my odac mates would laugh their lungs out and not believe this post.

Till now, i still feel that i've got this problem at times. I still feel difficult to open my mouth especially to my family members. My problems are my problems. I just can't share them. Selfish eh?

There's gold in my mouth, sometimes saying "thank you", "sorry", "please" just seem to be difficult. I'm still trying to improve. I'm still trying to speak up..

HAPPY RABBIT YEAR!!

It's almost the same for every chinese new year but still we'll have the mood for it. My dad always have got the mood for chinese new year. Though he didn't spend it with us for some of the years due to work.

There's always the same routine. Going to my cousin's house for lunch and then my grandpa's for dinner on the eve.

Day one of new year, we'll have lunch at home first then head to my grandpa's again.. There's still some excitement! I get to wear new clothes!!

Not every story comes with a happy ending like fairy tales. After 3 years, 4 months and a couple of days, we broke up. Again? Yes again. To be frank this is the 3rd time. But this time not exactly the same as previous ones.

I really didn't expect this to happen. Till, now i still couldn't believe that those words came from your mouth. It seems that we've realised how much flaws we both have. We can't tolerate anymore.

Why am i so cold towards you? I know we promised to be friends and maybe close friends. But i'm too used to you not being my friend. Boyfriend instead. I need sometime to realise that you are no longer my bf. I need time to get over. I'm still lost now, sometimes don't even know what i'm thinking. What the mind wants doesn't coordinate with what the body does. I can't control the droplets of salty water dripping down to my cheeks. The rate that i'm thinking of you is actually more than when we were together. I'm so sorry to admit that.

Well, i know you don't feel good too. In fact, worse than i do. Please get back on your feet soon. You should be strong, the cheerful guy that i know. You will definitely find a better girl than me. I've got way too much flaws.

Spring cleaning

It's the season again! Chinese New Year is just in a few more days time. As part of the tradition, most family will start doing spring cleaning. Just like a new year with a new beginning. Not excluding my house, my mum started the cleaning last week. Of course being a daughter I've got to help her. Getting rid all the old, useless stuffs, change the cover of the seats, wipe the windows etc. There's really a lot for us to do because my house is horrendously messy. It's only visitable during cny period. About 3 weeks after cny, it will unknowingly get back to the messy state. Sofas are nvr for people to sit, but instead our clothes :/ The coffee table will always be filled with things and it can be there until someone decided to move it somewhere( which most of the time remains there till the next cny)

I'm still not done with the cleaning! And I guess the cleaning will not stop till the eve. I could feel the nearing of cny! All the nice snacks awaiting! Not to forget the red packets!!!

2010 was really an exciting year. Definitely different from the past years i've lived.

It was really a working year at the first half of the year. I start working at Swiss club as a waitress at Dec 2009. It was actually the first time i worked. Didn't work during 'O' levels break because i just had too many activities and when JC for first 3 months. I must say, i'm loved by the staffs at swiss club. Part of the reason being, i'm the youngest there. They fed me well. Countless pizzas, pasta, fries... But well i work like a dog. My shift was like shit. Split shift, 8-2pm 5-9pm. I hate that the most. For a couple of weeks my life was just working. They hired me as a bartender. I have to peel 1 carton of oranges, cut one carton of apples, peel 6 pineapple and peel about 30 carrots for almost everyday. I must say, i really mastered the skill of cutting out the apple core just in one cut. I couldn't take the long hours at Swiss club plus there's no air-con!!! I really don't bear to leave swiss club because of the lovely staffs and chefs.

But there was a better job offer. Retail staff at Papermarket. The job is much much humane. At least i don't get sick working there. Other than getting paid, i get to learn how to do scrap-booking too! I've already got addicted to it. Now i love making cards. Please feel honored if you receive my handmade card! Because there's only one in the whole wide world. And that i need time to think, materials are not cheap too! I feel satisfied whenever i made one. I'm still working there now :)

Oh, i forgot about 'A' levels results. It was really not a good one. CDDES, i failed GP. Utterly disappointed with myself. I knew i could go nowhere, at some point of time i even thought of going to poly. My family members was quite encouraging this time. They didn't rub any salt on my wound. I got back on my feet pretty fast. I only applied for SIM- UOL Business. Yes, i got in.

At the start of July was Freshman Orientation Day, it was pretty boring though. I can't even remember more than 2 person from there accept for my own friends. If you know me well, i'm a camp person. How can i not sign up for FOC? Luckily i got in and i'm in this awesome pink group!!! The people are totally great. I can't imagine how my uni life would be like if i haven't met them.

Then i went Taiwan with my cousins and brother before July ends. Since i had been working hard since the beginning of the year, i had saved up quite a lot. Taiwan is really about shopping and eating. Maybe a bit of sight seeing. Really had a fun time.

End of August, school officially start. Back to books, lectures again. Took quite awhile to get back to the study mood. I have awesome lecture mates and yes, sq i see you almost everyday!

At that point of time, my relationship had some turbulence. We had the most number of quarrels ever. I shed buckets of tears. It was really at the breaking point. Just when i feel like giving up, i thought why i had held on for so long. I really can't bear to leave him.

I joined SRC and got into pageant. It wasn't my first choice though. I knew nothing about pageant actually. I was placed under sponsorship. Together with my team, we had to find sponsors for pageant. I choose to find sponsors for the contestants which i didn't know i chose it. Send countless e-mails out and get pathetic replies. Negotiate, bargain the terms and conditions with them. Meet the sponsors at places that i've never been to alone. I've never complained so much in my life. I really wanted to get out of it. However, was really an experience learning about sponsorship. The packing of the vouchers was high only. 1200! Pageant was 3months of hard preparation.

In between of that, my birthday!!! I clubbed after the clock strikes twelve. My third time entering club. My first was given to the RMIT pageant and was bash but all started at 2010. Till now i am still amazed by my 3 bestest friends meeting each other and be friends after that day. Not forgetting my first trip to USS after the rides close with my bf. I have a sweet bf :D My 2 ODAC queens got me a wonderful night too. Harry potter night for my birthday. Get dressed up like harry potter, eat 19 jellies...

Lastly was Dec, i didn't have holidays till the 17. So, i had gave camp mumbo a miss this year. I had too many things on hand. I still went a few day during the camp itself. I was so glad that some of the kids still remembered me. Another camp was cep. It was rather nostalgic as i haven't been there for a couple of years. After that was X'mas!! So many parties to go! Trying to get back to studies for the last few days :/

For the past 5 years, i count down on Christmas eve to welcome Christmas! But this year was totally a different one. I slept like a dead log on my bed by 11 pm. Not that i don't want to celebrate x'mas. I just had too many activities before and after x'mas eve.

I totally have the Christmas feel this year!

I exchanged Christmas gifts more times than ever. 4 times!

First was with this bunch of people on 22 Dec

Then stay over at Jared's with awesome pinkies!!!

On Christmas day itself with my beloved bf!

He made me a X'mas card!

And gave me a paper trimmer.

Not forgetting my family members, I spent my x'mas day with them too. Had a mini exchange and i've got 2o bucks choice voucher. I can now go cold storage to stock up my snacks!

Yes, i'm back to my real life. Finally at home with the whole room messed up as i haven't got the time to keep it neat for the past weeks.

Being busy is part of me. I felt empty when i'm not tasked to do things. I complained that i'm busy when i have too many things on hand.

Ironic isn't it?

1 pageant, 2 camps and school really drained me out.

So, what's next?

Festive season! It's Christmas!! All the gatherings, parties are waiting for me. Everybody is asking me out!

Not forgetting that it's also the time that i really need to buck up on my studies :/

Now i need to recharge my battery, it's really running low

There's really people who cares about you. Especially when you feel down or when you feel like the whole world is going against you. Don't you think so?

I felt so when i receive messages when people around me knows that i'm feeling really bad. Even if it's just a message, i'll feel a little happier. I appreciated these encouragement, support that you guys gave me.

Now i felt a little guilty. Will i do the same to my close ones too whenever they need help? My answer is clear. One of the reason being, i'm held up with work and i can't fought out the time? Okay, i feel that i'm giving an excuse. One sentence to phrase it all.

I should seriously start studying.

I've been giving myself a lot of excuses to slack. This whole week is really unproductive. I've been sleeping quite early and i still have got the cheek to watch television shows. Really lagging behind for all the subjects. Especially economics and IBM. Pop me any question of that 2 subject i can answer you none. It's that bad.

Studies are supposed to be the priority.

But every week seems like there's a lot of things to do other than study. I'm guilty of slacking. I can stare at the ceiling and do nothing. I can aimlessly use the computer for hours. I can sense that i'm gonna be busier next 2 weeks because of pageant.

Please remind me that i have to study!

I turned 19. Hmm.. the number 18 seems to be nicer though. I received lots and lots of messages, wishes from facebook. I realised something, it doesn't really matters how many people wishes you. But i does really matter who wished you.

19 years of life, ups and downs... Love my parents for everything they have done. I know i took things for granted. Shelter, money, clothes, there's nothing i need to worry about.

Back track a bit, 261110 my lecture mates got me a cake for Economics Lecture. I was pretty surprise. A cake at such an early time? I see them every weekday! And i'm glad that i will see them everyday. At night i met up with 3 lovely friends of mine. Each from different parts of my life. They are all my dearest. My life wouldn't be more perfect without them. A big thank you to you girls!! Not just for that day itself, the things that you girls have done, i really appreciate them. And i'm really happy that you girls get along so well when you all met each other for the first time! I was a really a night :)

Okies, back to my birthday itself. How can i have celebrations without my bf? He thought for quite a while and decided to bring me to USS after the peak period- $5 to get in!

First, 2 willing hands are needed. Then place them together and next interlock. Loving isn't it? Think about it, how many people have you ever held hands with.

However when one party is not willing, hands cannot be held together. Loving, sweet and everything just discontinue. Communication is important, once there's a break down you'll just be no where. Now i understand, even a quarrel is a form of communication. At least things are being clarified.

I just have got this urge to start blogging again. The only reason that i've stop was because the laziness overcame me. Now that i want to blog again is because i need a place to rant.

Okay, not that all of those sucks.. But 4 out of 6 do! I think sometimes i'm the main cause. Finding trouble for myself only. I don't know whether this is me a not? It seems that i just like to be busy. And now i'm the one complaining that i'm very busy. HOW CONTRADICTING! Just feel like slapping myself...(okay don't tell you you gonna slap me)

Sometimes i felt so overwhelmed. I can't breathe. Everybody's pressing, every part! My family complains that i'm not home for dinner, my friends want to date me out and i can't reject cause i haven't seen them for long or i feel that there's obligation, i've got lots to catch up for my studies..(which is supposed to be my main part of life), then comes pageant, sponsors are really driving me mad! i hate it! Still my boyfriend likes to complain that i'm not giving him enough attention... And i still need to work!!! i need money for all of these.

I've only got this much of time. I'm becoming China's icon. Panda. Tell me what can i do?

For the last few minutes for my 18th Birthday, i wish myself happy 18 again. Yes, finally a legal age to a so called 'new world'.

Frankly speaking, i actually didn't have high hopes for this birthday. I thought that friends haven't got the time for any planing since 'A' levels just ended for some and some still got their last paper like me. My secondary schools best mate seems to be busy with their stuffs too.

But why i thought wasn't always true. I had my first surprise when the clock strikes twelve. My beloved ODAC mates were at my door step. I couldn't believe my eyes. Hmm but i guess there was a bit of disappointment when they have to go home after a little while which makes my feels guilty.

And ya talking about that, i must not forget my parents, my family. I hope that my mum had enough sleep since my friends only left at ard 1 plus and she got to wake up early in the morning for her 'holiday' trip. From young till now, i can say that i'm quite a fortunate kid. Better than those average i guess. I've got a happy family, though there may be fights here and there. The words may not the out but the actions do show.

To continue, i went for a shopping spree with my 'wife'. The first time officially shopping with her but definitely not the last. She bought me a balloon dog and i named it Bolt since it is not ordinary. Surprises came one after another, i saw my secondary school best mates. The usual beauties.... A day, or maybe a few hours before me turning eighteen. After such a long time, i'm finally back. i've got he urge to do so. To let something out of the bag? Idk.

'A' levels is all what i've go this year. Mugging and still mugging for the whole year (maybe some kind of fun in between but however with constrains). Right now i'm still waiting for it to be over. The one last one, the subject i hated the most in JC.

Till now if you ask me whether i regret going JC, the answer is still a yes. I just felt that i've missed a lot of stuffs in this two years. I shall not elaborate further. So, therefore people out there going to make your choice about JC or not? Choose it wisely. I think i was naive. All i wanted to get into JC was because i thought it is the best way i could have further studies in the local university. But i was wrong, i wasn't that easy afterall. Trying with all your might but still does not get a reasonable grade? Ha i shall be optimistic and wait till the results are out before i can say whether efforts are worth.

I wish myself a Happy 18th Birthday in advance. And may my wishes come true :)

oh well, yes i haven't been blogging and maybe i've lost touch of it. i guess i'll not post until the end of A levels. The life of a A LVL student is simply said to be mundane. Mondays to Fridays are school and weekends are libraries. But nonetheless, there are still sparks in between with some forms of entertainment.

I'm not a study person i must say. I can fail to do anything but i can't fail to play and have fun. We Students entertain ourselves but switching the places we study in. Sometime we are so desperate that we dress up to go study because we haven't had time/ chance to go out.

We went Gracelyn's house to play MONOPOLY today. The initial plan was to stay in school after lessons to study. Yup, but somehow or rather we conclude to go her house to study first and then play MONOPOLY. Words always don't count. Nobody had mood to study and so we jumped to our main purpose. MONOPOLY! trying to convice ourselves that we are learning and using our economics knowledge. When i was young, i played without understanding the rules of it. Only knowing that i can buy houses and i can get money when people step into my house. Well, i finally understand how it works and played with understanding today! However, sad to say i'm the first who got bankrupt. I'm unlucky in some sense but i'll definitely do better next time round!

Shall we have a next round some time later when we think that we need a rest?

i admit, it has been "YEARS" since i'm here.
Okies i guess the emoing part will start now. So, bear with me for this moment. Needless to say, i'm busy over all the homeworks, assignments, tutorial given by the teachers. I mean, i choose this path and so live with it. My GP sucks like hell and i've no idea how i'm going to take my exams this year. Don't try asking me to read.The work load is like piles and never finishing. It's monday tomorrow! The BLUES come again. Thinking of all the incomplete work and the sponge system again, there's only rolling of eyes. What to do? Sign... CAN I HAVE A BREAK? a long one. Yes after 'A' levels that's what teachers will tell you. The society make us Singaporeans. Kiasu, Kiasi when goes to competing in all aspects. I want to do the things that i want to. But the more you want, the more you won't get it. Sometimes i just feel that i don't belong. I felt lonely when i have all my friends around me. I hate it! And this can cause the rest of the day to be listless. I just hoped that everything will be fine. Okay all the random stuffs. I think this moment is enough. Stop! No more! Everything irks me now.

There is something i must say. I LOVE ODAC like tons, though there's like lots of stuff to do. I just love it. The people, everything... I climbed 60 storeys with some of them. It's tiring but worth it

Yup, It's a New Year 2009. Like what i've tell everyone, a year has past. The good times, the bad times that we all went through. We have to learn from the wrong things we have done and improve on ourselves. It's time to reflect on what you have done for the year. Have i just went through it aimlessly? Is that the best i can do?

The happy thing is that,

i met a bunch of friends who will be there for you when you need them.
i did not spent my year aimlessly, i did something
i didn't let it just go..
i got promoted to J2
i went to India and let myself know how fortunate i am

The bad ones, i shall kept it in my heart.

A new year, really means that school is going to start. The thing that i'm worried of starts to make me have sleepless nights. My class is now 216, no longer 118. The people that were in 118 doesn't mean that they will be in 216. I have this feeling that, right after the breaking of news, we start to drift away. I've tried to be like before, but things doesn't goes the same anymore. I seem to lost the thing that i need to survived with..

It's just a holiday, but i seemed to have lost track of everything.
Can i not be busy anymore? PLEASE

Okay say no more, i will and definitely do well for 'A's.

MERRY, MERRY and MERRY X'MAS.

Okies, i know it's a bit late but christmas is still not over yet. There is 12 days of x'mas and i'm on the 5th day of x'mas! Will i receive 5 golden rings? ha. I have been busying receiving presents and celebrating all sorts of occasions. For this holiday, the days that i'm at home is so much lesser than the days i'm out. These gives a reason why i'm only blogging at this time.

After every christmas celebration, all the student will start the frat about the re-opening of their school. Some will start to say " oh no! i haven't buy my books yet" and some will start to do their holiday assignments. It's time to get your hearts settled down and that's the time i felt guilty. I haven't done a single question of my holiday assignment and i guess all my worksheets are filled with webs. Luckily i need not buy any books and my sch will only start on 12 jan.

Yeah, not long after i reach home from the airport, these few person came to surprise me at my door step. Poor me, cannot even take a nap after the flight. Priscilla gave me this lovely sunflower! Thanks a lot, i really love it.

They gave me an hour or so to let me prepare myself for the celebration

Luckily, they have restrictions of what they can buy

And here serene is! i've know her for 3 years and still counting

yeah, and i know this person for 17 years? hahas

We drank soup, we camwhore with pris's mac, we watched tv, we crapped, we gossiped and i slept while waiting for meixuan's arrival. When i said i wanna get home, i got a second surprise..
